About the Company...

and Our Devotion to Community Pets

Founded in 2004, Pup-Eez® is a U.S. trademark established by Heidi Jones. Florida-registered and licensed through Broward County, Pup-Eez® is insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates. Certificates and licenses may be viewed upon request. Heidi Jones is very active in efforts to fight animal cruelty. Much of her work has been focused on the plight of chained and penned dogs, and Heidi, via the Pup-Eez Pet Welfare Initiative, has rehabilitated and re-homed many abused and neglected dogs that had been barely surviving, often in filthy conditions, unprotected from the heat and severe weather --alone, unloved, scared, hungry, thirsty, and most in dire need of veterinary care. Heidi's rescue work is widely respected throughout south Florida, as is her commitment to educational and legislative efforts that accentuate the well-being of dogs and other companion animals.
Her concern for pets caught up in domestic violence situations led Heidi to seek legislative support from the City of Pembroke Pines, Florida. The City's commissioners responded wholeheartedly in March, 2015 by passing a resolution designed to secure State legislation. In early 2010, Heidi Jones introduced specific, attended only anti-tethering legislation to the mayor and commissioners of Pembroke Pines, Florida. This ordinance was unanimously passed in August, 2010, placing it amongst the most restrictive in the entire country, short of an all-out tethering ban. The Pines ordinance has become a significant reference, studied by other municipalities and states in the process of developing anti-tethering legislation for their own communities. Heidi is especially grateful to the many clients of Pup-Eez who actively support these legislative and rescue efforts, and particularly to those who have given loving and attentive homes to the rescued pets. Seeing the joy in their eyes when they know they are finally safe and loved is touching and rewarding beyond words.
As I always say... It takes a village to raise a pet these days!
